Just as hard to say goodbye to my home that I grew up in, was to say farewell to, by far, the best cars we have ever owned. I have always loved cars and driving (much to my husband’s dismay- it’s definitely my weakness!), but I never knew true car-love until I first sat in Tommy (the name for our model X- the white car below). Driving Tommy was like riding a motorcycle, but with the nice addition of an incredible sound system and spaceship technology. Oh, Tommy, my love. You shall be missed. You were ridiculously expensive, but totally worth the three years of unfortunately high car payments (at least there was no petrol! no maintenance!). I shall see you again in my dreams. RIP, my love <3
I can understand your feelings. I felt miserable when we had to leave Nagpur, my home for 24 years where I had name, fame , career everything. But hubby Mohan had got a fantastic offer of being the Dy MD of Mahindra ugine Steel Company. I cried my heart out
